Jason Segel is slowly joining the ranks of Seth Rogen and the clan with successes like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I Love You Man, not to mention his hilarious role in How I Met Your Mother. Now, looks like he’s got a Disney film in line.
Heat Vision reports that Jason Segel has signed on to do Disney’s Muppets movie. He will play the human lead in the film alongside … well, muppets. James Bobin is directing the script whose plot is being kept under wraps for some reason. Guess who wrote the script? Segel himself along with friend Nicholas Stoller (who directed Marshall).
It’s interesting for anyone who’s seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall because his character there always wanted to create a Dracula muppet movie. Well, at least he’s got something close enough.
