Edward Norton is possibly the most dedicated and versatile working actor today. Refusing to do big budget fare in the past, he took a star turn when he played Bruce Banner in 2008′s reboot ‘The Incredible Hulk’. Talks of a sequel took place but nothing came out off it. And Edward Norton believes nothing probably will.

Talking to Cinematical when promoting his latest ‘Leaves of Grass’ at SXSW festival, he says that the odds for a Hulk 2 taking place is very slim. Here’s his words when asked on the sequel ever happening:
“I don’t think so. I think it has got more to do with what Marvel is doing. I get the sense they have this grand vision of unspooling a lot of their characters and then starting to put them together. I think they can only do so many at a time. Obviously, they are doing Iron Man 2 and then getting some of the new ones out.”
He also says he won’t be cameo-ing in Thor or Captain America. Back when The Incredible Hulk was being made, Norton had a fallout with Marvel. See, he wrote a script and the finished film was about two and a half hours long which Marvel promised would remain. Later on though, it was slashed to bits to a more fashionable one hour fifty minutes runtime. In effect, Norton hardly promoted the film.
He says he has reconciled though. But what about ‘The Avengers’?
