What’s up with Hollywood’s obsesesion with reboots these days? Especially when you have an Oscar winning franchise on your hands? This time, Matt Damon shares info with the press that after Paul Greengrass refused to return for a fourth Bourne film, a prequel may be in the works.

Damon speaks at the UK premiere of ‘Invictus’:
There’ll probably be a prequel of some kind with another actor and another director before we do another one, just because I think we’re probably another five years away from doing it – we’ve got to get a script.
Let me be first to say that the idea of shooting a prequel with a different actor and then returning with the previous actor for a sequel is a very bad one. I’d much rather prefer the wait for a Bourne movie that is not a cash in by Universal and re-unites the entire crew. But I have a sinking feeling nothing can stop this one and we might see more of this news in the coming days.
What do you think?
