Weekly Posters: Nostalgic Poster For Adam Sandler’s ‘Grown Ups’

After watching the trailer to Adam Sandler’s ‘Grown Ups’, I felt a little bit of wasted potential since the cast he had managed to bring together was genius. All it looked like was another light comedy with physical slapstick and every actor playing the very same roles they’ve been playing all along. Now we’ve got a poster that looks different thanks to the replacement of actor’s pictures with their old photos.

Grown Ups, starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and David Spade, is a comedy about five friends and former teammates who reunite years later to honor the passing of their childhood basketball coach. With their wives (Salma Hayek, Maria Bello, Maya Rudolph) and kids in tow, they spend the Fourth of July holiday weekend together at the lake house where they celebrated their championship years earlier. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn’t mean growing up.

Who knew Kevin James was that thin as a child? And Chris Rock looks exactly the same. Anyway, I’m sure the movie will end up as an entertaining one but I doubt it will be anything memorable.
