Well, at least you can’t say you didn’t see it coming. After the enormous success of ‘New Moon’, Taylor Lautner has just secured his next big role with Paramount as the lead in their upcoming toy adaptation ‘Max Steel’.
The story revolves around Josh McGrath a 19 year old sport junkie who gets in an accident with his body infected by nanobots, which leads to him being recruited by a secret agency since the said nanobots give him super powers.
I can see the reasoning behind hiring Lautner for the role here. At least 50 million dollars is assured from the fan girls going to check him out. And also assured is an out of place topless scene just to woo them. The script is still being written by J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani and no release date is set.
