Pierre Morrel’s next actioner came on the rodar with one of the best action movie posters of the year. They followed that up with an underwhelming trailer and then two more slick posters. They should have stopped right there, since the posters have been degrading in quality ever since. Here we have two more posters for the film starring John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Myers. And even though the gun aim is slick here, Rhys Myers deflates the whole poster with an uninterested pose that makes me believe he thinks he is in Matchpoint 2 (even more uninterested in the second poster after the jump). I’m slowly thinking he was miscast for such a movie.
A low-ranking intelligence operative (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) working in the office of the U.S. Ambassador in France takes on more than he bargained for when he partners with a wisecracking, fast-shooting, high-ranking U.S. agent (John Travolta) who’s been sent to Paris to stop a terrorist attack.
Second poster after the jump.
