In yet another heartening news for long awaited adaptation of the massively popular game series “Warcraft”, Sam Rami (who was recently announced director) announced that screenwriter Robert Rodat is set to write the adaptation who was the screenwriter of the amazing Saving Private Ryan, MTV reports.

Rami says in an interview “We want to be really faithful to the game. We would have our writer, Robert Rodat, really craft an original story within that world that feels like a ‘World of WarCraft’ adventure. Only obviously it’s very different ’cause it’s expanded and translated into the world of a motion picture.”
Also, the film will simply be titled “Warcraft” as it would be stupid to adapt World of Warcraft since it has no plot of itself. This could go very well but could also be bad, and I hope Warner Brothers know what they are doing and don’t disappoint a fanbase of more than 11 million.
