Official images for criminally delayed ‘Red Dawn’ show Thor and Peeta
The long-delayed remake starring Chris Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson is getting a November release.
One of the most delayed movies in Hollywood has been the ill-fated remake of ‘Red Dawn’, which stars Chris Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson as a group of teenage rebels surviving a siege as Chinese forces suddenly invade American and take over. The film was in limbo when MGM went into bankruptcy and stayed like that for a year or so in 2009, but even after the studio was fine nothing came out of it. Earlier, it was announced that due to China suddenly becoming a big market for movies, the studio is going to digitally replace the Chinese logos and flags into North Korea and will basically change the entire villain force of the film. Now, it looks like three years later the film actually has a release date of November 2012 and here are a couple of images of Hemsworth and Hutcherson in action.
The film also stars Adrianne Palicki and Isabelle Lucas and is directed by Dan Bradley, and looks like an interesting action movie that hopefully doesn’t look too dated right now.
But it probably will.
