DreamWorks announces ‘Kung Fu Panda 3′, ‘Madgascar’ penguin spin-off
Films could release by 2015, says studio.
They were onced mocked as being a shadow of the superior Pixar, but DreamWorks animation is maturing on its own and can currently rival Pixar in terms of quality. And now, they announced two upcoming films that fans will love to hear about.

Cinemablend has a run through of the panel the studio did recently, where the first big film they announced was ‘Kung Fu Panda 3′, the third in a series of animated comedies starring Jack Black as a lovable martial arts panda. The franchise has been making bank for a long time so there’s no surprise that DreamWorks wants to continue on that front. We have no other details after that.
The other film to be announced was the ‘Madagascar’ spin-off with the penguins, which is currently titled ‘The Penguins of Madagascar’ and is aiming to release by 2015. Audiences really love the penguins from that film and the spinoff can work if they find out a way to not let that joke become too old.
