Seth MacFarlane would love to make ‘Ted 2′
The blockbuster hit comedy of the year could be getting a sequel soon.
Ever since I saw the first redband trailer of the film, ‘Ted’ looked like the funniest and most promising comedy of the year with the most interesting and unique premise. And sure enough, the film opened in the States and some foreign territories to acclaim and record breaking box-office and is still doing amazing business worldwide. Naturally, sequel talk must begin and looks like creator Seth MacFarlane is interested himself.
Deadline reports that at Comic Con this year, the director/writer/ voice actor of the film Seth MacFarlane who’s also known for being the creator of ‘Family Guy’ revealed that he would be very interested in making a sequel to Ted:
“I’d be open to making Ted 2.”
That’s pretty much it. There’s no script or story, or any info if the actors will return but they should be expected to. Though a sequel may not be essential for the film, it’s still a concept they can continue with a sequel and find the right story to tell with it. And as long as it’s hilarious, audiences will come out in droves.
