Guillermo Del Toro and Ron Perlman planning ‘Hellboy 3′
Comic-Con gets a very cool announcement in form of your favorite badass’ return.
‘Hellboy’ is a different kind of superhero film series that actually has a very unique style and look to it and has a loyal fanbase behind it thanks to Guillermo Del Toro and his vision for a character he loves. But it’s been a long time since ‘Hellboy: The Golden Army’ came out and it had fans wondering whether we’ll ever get to see a third film. Well, good news.

At the San Diego Comic Con this week, EW reports that Guillermo Del Toro and Ron Perlman announced that they’re working on ‘Hellboy 3′ actively. Del Toro said:
“I can say publicly that now we are together in trying [to do Hellboy 3].”
Ron Perlman, the guy who plays the Hellboy we know, continued:
“The [first] two movies were really set up to have this unbelievable resolve. Everything that was done in both movies was leading up to this destiny, written in stone, of what Hellboy has been summoned to Earth to do. To not do it, particularly in light of the scope that Guillermo is thinking of for the resolve, would be in my mind a little bit of a shame.”
It would be great to see a ‘Hellboy 3′, but with Del Toro’s packed schedule it looks like it’s a long time coming from now. But bring it on nonetheless.
