Marvel updates: ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, ‘Thor: The Dark World’, ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ announced
Marvel president Kevin Feige announces Phase 2 of Marvel movies.
Marvel definitely had a lot to reveal at the San Diego Comic Con, starting off with their big new movie announced as people already guessed. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ is now set for an August 2014 release date, and is a brand new film property which will be quite hard for Marvel to adapt into a film but it could lead to a very cool film.

As for the sequel to ‘Thor’, we now have an official title for the film which is ‘Thor: The Dark World’. Doesn’t tell you much about the film but it is a cool title nonetheless.

Even the ‘Captain America’ sequel got an official title as ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ which means that the story will be set both in the present and the past as per comic books. I didn’t quite like the first film, and here’s hoping the second film does better with the material.

Overall, Kevin Feige has a pretty good ‘Phase 2′ going on and out of all the projects it will be interesting to see how ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ turns out and affects the rest of the Marvel canon.
