Russell Crowe playing Dracula in Eli Roth’s ‘Harker’

From Maximus to Robin Hood to Dracula.
Just because he has been facing waning star power doesn’t mean Russell Crowe is any less of a good actor. And now, he’s set to play Dracula himself.
Warner Bros. is negotiating with director Eli Roth (Hostel 1 and 2) to direct the vampire-themed detective film ‘Harker’, where Crowe will play the vampire Dracula according to Deadline. But he’s not playing the lead since the story is actually about a Scotland Yard detective named Jonathan Harker who has been hunting Dracula. So I’m assuming he will be there for the first film with potential for future movies with different villains and creatures. Lee Shipman & Brian McGreevy are writing the script.
