Hans Zimmer set to score Zack Snyder’s ‘Man of Steel’
The ‘Dark Knight’ composer will compose the music for the Superman reboot.
One of the highlights of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy – aside from the fact it’s amazing – is the excellent and epic score by Hans Zimmer that perfect compliments the tone. Since Warner Brothers is hoping that their upcoming Superman reboot gains the same success that Batman saw and so far they’ve followed that heavily. Now, they’ve made sure the soundtrack is top notch too.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Hans Zimmer has been signed on to score ‘Man of Steel’ which will be directed by Zack Synder and will star Henry Cavill as the titular hero, along with Amy Adams, Michael Shannon and Kevin Costner among others. This will be his fifth collaboration with Christopher Nolan who is overseeing the production, including ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ later this year and ‘Inception’ in 2010. If his work can match the same tone as Batman, this will be epic.
