Michael Bay-produced ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ reboot delayed due to script issues
The bastardized reboot of classic has been delayed past 2014.
In a news that will make a lot of people happy, the Michael Bay produced ‘reboot’ of the classic ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ has been shut down indefinitely.

The film is set to be directed by Jonathan Liebesman and had a December 2013 release, but fans were irked by some suggested changes that were being made to the mythology including making the turtles an alien race instead of mutated turtles. But producers never cared and just promised that they’re going to do it right, which no one ever believed.
The Hollywood Reporter has the report that the issue is the script, which is why the pre-production team has been laid off for now and the movie will most likely not make its release date and will be pushed into summer 2014. This is not the first time Paramount has delayed their films, most notably ‘GI Joe: Retaliation’ was pushed off to next year to add more Channing Tatum through re-shoots.
Would you be remotely interested in a TMNT reboot regardless?
