Fifth ‘Terminator’ film shooting in 2013, says Arnold Schwarzenegger himself
And a sixth one will follow, if this is to be believed.
They say there is no Terminator movie without Schwarzenegger, and the failure of ‘Terminator Salvation’ proved that to be true. A fifth Terminator movie with the actor returning has long been in production with Justin Lin directing, but there was news that he had to leave the franchise because of his commitments to the Fast and the Furious franchise. Now, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself has revealed that a fifth film will be shooting next year and a sixth film is being planned as well. Apparently.

Moviehole has the scoop about a blog that managed to get a quote from the actor himself about the fifth movie being shot sometime in 2013. But not only that, there’s a sixth movie being planned after that. Both these films will surprisingly follow ‘Terminator Salvation’ and will end the franchise definitively. Now there’s no news on who will direct the film or what it will be about, but don’t take this news so seriously since there’s a lack of sources here. But if this ends up being true, it means the Terminator franchise looks to be back in grand fashion.
