‘Daredevil’ reboot now gets a new writer

David Slade directed upcoming reboot now has a new writer on board.
Though Marvel has an excellent track record with superhero movies generally, one of the exceptions in 2004 was the misguided ‘Daredevil’ starring Ben Affleck which didn’t please fans or critics. Fox has been trying to reboot it for a while now and hired director David Slade to do the duties. Now, they’ve made a hire on a new writer for the film.

Deadline says that Fox has hired David James Kelly to write a new version of the reboot. This time around, the film is going to be based on the 1986 Frank Miller/David Mazzucchelli storyline Born Again and it’s pretty clear that none of the cast of the original will reprise their roles. Or will they? You never know.
