‘Silent Hill: Revelation 3D’ finally releasing this Halloween
Probably quite later in UAE, though.
Though it was shot quite a while ago, there was a silence regarding ‘Silent Hill: Revelation 3D’ which was set out to be a sequel to 2006′s hit ‘Silent Hill’ based on the videogame of the same name. I liked the original film which is probably one of the most faithful and effective videogame adaptations, and the sequel does have a lot of the cast making a return even though the story is new. Now, the movie has a release date.

Open Road has picked up the film, dating it for a October 26 US release date which is the coveted Halloween release. It’s nice to know that the film has such a prime spot. The movie stars Sean Bean, Radha Mitchell, and Deborah Kara Unger, Adelaide Clemens, Carrie-Anne Moss, Malcom McDowell, and Kit Harington among others and is directed by Michael J. Bassett.
The plot is this:
“Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father (Bean) have been on the run from mysterious and dangerous forces. She discovers she isn’t who she thinks she is, leading her deeper into a demonic world.”
Sounds good. What do you think?
