Aaron Eckhart is a badass monster in first look from ‘I, Frankenstein’
Frankenstein’s monster is in a dark modern world in first look of upcoming film.
It wasn’t long before Frankenstein was brought back into a modern setting by Hollywood. And the film ‘I, Frankenstein’ has set out to do that with Aaron Eckhart playing the monster with Stuart Beattie directing. And now, we have a first image of the movie with him in character as a badass walking the streets with a disfigured (slightly) face.
I FRANKENSTEIN is a modern-day epic: Frankenstein’s creature, ADAM, has survived to present day due to a genetic quirk in his creation. Making his way to a dark, gothic metropolis, he finds himself caught in an all-out, centuries old war between two immortal clans. As writer/director, Stuart Beattie said, “Mary Shelly’s story is about the creation of the first human being. This is the story about that being becoming human.
I like how Eckhart has interpreted his character and I’m interested to see how the character can work in the modern world, but something about that synopsis reminds me of that shitty movie ‘Priest’ that we were treated to last year and that’s never good. However, looks like the creators are putting a lot of effort into the film and I’m looking forward to see the end result.
What about you?
