Sylvester Stallone will kill off Rambo in ‘Rambo 5′
Also, reveals plot details for the movie.
Slyvester Stallone has been talking about a ‘Rambo 5′ for a long time and has promised to do it after the tragically PG-13 ‘Expendables 2′ releases this year, but the project has been slower than normal. Now, he reveals what he has in mind for the movie as well as the fact that he plans to kill off Rambo at the end of it.
Speaking to Macleans.ca, he reveals the plot of the next film:
“[John Rambo's] in Arizona on the border. It will involve him going into Mexico. I don’t think Rambo likes Mexicans.”
Sounds good, but here’s the juicy bit. When asked whether he plans to kill off the character at the end of the movie, he answers:
“Yeah.”
I don’t see how he could be any clearer. But it definitely confirms that whenever the movie comes, it will be the last of the series. Unless Rambo Jr. comes along.
Which I hope to God doesn’t happen.
