Viacom CEO confirms ‘Mission: Impossible 5′
By Faisal Hashmi on March 10, 2012
Ethan Hunt will return for another adventure.
It’s no secret that Paramount is planning a fifth Mission Impossible film after ‘Ghost Protocol’ was not only the highest grossing film of the series, it was Tom Cruise’s highest grosser of all time and shot him back to the A-list in one swoop. Now, the CEO of Viacom confirms this.
THR reports the words of Philippe Dauman, the CEO of Viacom, when asked whether there are “any plans to develop an additional sequel,” all he says is:
“Oh, yes.”
Hardly a revelation, but it’s good to know that a sequel is officially on. If only director Brad Bird signs on for it as well.
How excited are you for ‘Mission Impossible 5′?
