Seeking a Friend for the End of the World Trailer

Hollywood has a magical attraction to anything that has to do with the end of the world and for good reason - it makes for an extremely cinematic situation filled with conflict. But the comedy genre hadn't seen any apocalyptic goodness and the first movie releasing which will change that is the upcoming 'Seeking a Friend for the End of the World' which has a sweet trailer boasting a strong cast. Steve Carrell is excellent as usual and his unusual pairing with Keira Knightley will make this interesting to watch for sure. The main plot might be predictable but the end of the world twist makes it fresh again.
Plot - Steve Carell and Keira Knightley star in the comedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, which marks the feature directorial debut of screenwriter Lorene Scafaria. Set in a too-near future, the movie explores what people will do when humanity's last days are at hand. As the respective journeys of Dodge (Carell) and Penny (Knightley) converge, the two spark to each other and their outlooks – if not the world's – brighten.
