The Bourne Legacy Trailer

Video DescriptionWould you watch a Bourne movie without Matt Damon or even without Jason Bourne for that matter? That's the question to ask yourself when seeing the trailer for the upcoming 'The Bourne Legacy' which focuses on an entirely new agent Aaron Cross played by Jeremy Renner. The trailer itself is much better than I thought it would be and the inclusion of Edward Norton as the villain is definitely a plus point to see. Renner looks physical and the tone of the movie looks right, but at the same time it just doesn't feel like Paul Greengrass' excellent direction here. It lacks that gritty camera movement and visceral style that made those movies much more raw. But either way, it will be worth a watch and hopefully nothing that kills an amazing franchise forever.
Plot - The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films. For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.
