‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Theatrical Trailer Is Jaw-Dropping
Bane is looking for destruction in excellent new Batman trailer.
Moviegoers in the US are lucky enough to be having a chance to see the six minute prologue to ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ before a few IMAX screenings of ‘Mission Impossible’ but there’s no such thing in UAE unfortunately. But for us, there’s this new theatrical trailer for the movie which is jaw-dropping to say the least.
We get a lot more footage here than we did in the first teaser trailer and suffice to say that Bane looks physically menacing. Right from the opening scene, we see the city 8 years after the events of Dark Knight and it’s looking like a bleak affair. The escape from prison is exciting but the moneyshot of the trailer of course is the football stadium scene which may need some more CGI work on it but works extremely well. Anne Hathway actually looks promising here unlike the images that we saw earlier. The finale shows a lot of quick shots including reveals of Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Cotillard in their heavily guarded roles. It’s a very effective trailer that more than does the job of making you highly anticipate the movie. Or least another trailer.
