Bruce Willis And Arnold Schwarzenegger Locked In For Substantial Roles In ‘The Expendables 2′
Chuck Norris and Van Damme might have joined as well.
Earlier this week, we ran a big wishlist of actors that Stallone wants for the sequel to 2010′s ‘The Expendables’, which included Chuck Norris, John Travolta and other big names. There have been rumors of a leaked report that apparently confirmed that Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme and Scott Adkins have joined the film but we’re still waiting for a final word. What we do know for sure now is that Bruce Willis And Arnold Schwarzenegger, both of whom appeared in the first film, are now back for the sequel.
Deadline reports that both actors have signed the deals to reprise in the sequel. But the last time around, they only had minor cameos in the film (Arnold more-so). This time around, their roles are said to be more ‘substantial’ which is exciting to hear. There was talk that Bruce Willis is going to be the big villain in the sequel and that makes even more sense now that I think about it.
The rest of the main cast is of course expected to return, as well as Donnie Yen who still hasn’t been confirmed at this point.
What do you think of having two big stars in big roles this time around?
