First Look: Very Mixed Reaction To Anne Hathaway As Catwoman In ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
Warner Bros releases a first look at Selina Kyle.
This might just be the very first piece of multimedia out of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ that might put you in doubt about the project just a little bit. Warner Bros has officially released the first look at Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and it sticks out like a sore thumb from the gritty and realistic mood of Nolan’s world.
Those high-tech glasses and the entire look is from something on the lines of ‘Tron Legacy’ than ‘Dark Knight’. And given the spotty history of the character in previous movies, I can’t expect a lot from it here. It’s just that with Bruce Wayne, Bane, Gordon and other characters in the movie I don’t see a need for adding a whole new character of Catwoman into the movie. But I trust in Nolan and if there is any actress who can pull it off, it’s Anne Hathaway. So good choice there.
