Warner Bros. Hires Writers For ‘Yogi Bear 2′

You asked for it. Another Yogi Bear is now officially in the works.
Last year, we got a cartoon adaptation in the form of ‘Yogi Bear’ and as expected it bombed with the critics and the movie wasn’t good at all. Yet, it was a family movie that manages to make just enough money for the studio to start thinking about a sequel. And this now officially confirms it.
Variety reports that writing team Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia has now been hired to pen the sequel, which is surprising that they are writers who actually write these movies. There’s no word on the plot nor whether any of the cast will be back, but something tells me they won’t mind an easy paycheck.
