This week, Zack Snyder’s hyperactive action fantasy ‘Sucker Punch’ is getting a lot of critical flack from all sides and though the movie is definitely not a great one, it is the kind of movie that Zack Snyder has been making up to this point anyway – a very stylized tale with a lot of breathtaking action sequences that take over substance. Only difference is that he actually tried to do something daring with his own idea and audiences didn’t really take it too well. Does this bode well for his upcoming ‘Superman’ reboot? That remains to be seen, but we now have a lead actress for the film.

The LA Times reports that Zack Snyder has selected Amy Adams for the role of Lois Lane in his ‘Superman’ movie. She was nominated for an Oscar for “The Fighter’ this year, and has done movies like ‘Enchanted’ and “Talladega Nights’ among others. The role was rumored to pretty much every young actress in Hollywood at some point, but glad to see that the right choice was made. She is definitely capable of taking on a big movie and has the grace and intellect to make her role believable.
Also, her chemistry with Henry Cavill needs to be seen but I bet it has been worked out already. What do you think?
