Robert Downey Jr. is one of the first actors to be cast in the upcoming DreamWorks adaptation of the 1950′s classic cartoon ‘Mister Peabody & Sherman’ originally created by Jay Ward.
The original series was first featured on 1960s television animated series Rocky and His Friends and The Bullwinkle Show. The show revolved around Mr. Peabody who is the world’s smartest person who happens to be a dog. He and his “pet” boy Sherman travel through time to learn and sometimes fix problems.
The remake will be Directed by Rob Minkoff and screen played by Craig Wright. It is scheduled for release in late March 2014.
