‘Captain America’ Teaser Poster Is Gritty
But what does “Avenge” refer to?
We will have a teaser trailer soon, but this first teaser for ‘The First Avenger: Captain America’ just released by Marvel looks to be going in the right direction.
After being deemed unfit for military service, Steve Rogers volunteers for a top secret research project that turns him into Captain America, a superhero dedicated to defending America’s ideals.
The color palette here is very striking and Chris Evans looks badass with the shield and the suit. The debris in the background reminds me of ‘Saving Private Ryan’. The only weird thing is the massive tagline “Avenge’. A reference to ‘Avengers’ or something in the plot? Either way, it might be misconstrued as the title by many. Nevertheless, a great teaser poster that gets us excited.
