Joseph Gordon-Levitt Might Be Joining ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
The ‘Inception’ star will re-unite with Christopher Nolan, but for what character?
Now here’s a casting news that makes me very excited. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who starred in “Inception” last year and is one of the most promising young actors today, is in talks to re-unite with Christopher Nolan in joining ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.
Deadline reports on the news but we have no word on what character he will play, which kicks the rumor mill into gear. Some are suggesting that he will be Dr. Strange in the movie, while the others are going back to an earlier rumor that he will play The Riddler. Hell, some are even going all out crazy and saying he will be taking over Heath Ledger’s Joker. The first one seems like a genuine possibility, the second is unlikely since there’s already two villains in the movie, and the third is downright silly and Nolan has confirmed that no Joker will appear in the third film.
It’s great news that the talented actor is joining the film and only shows how loyal Nolan is with the actors he’s worked with. We’ll keep you updated.
