Believe it or not, the first life form that the ‘Hulk’ had outside of its source material was a 70′s TV show where an actual human actor painted in green played Hulk. No kidding. Of course, new technology brought in CGI but we got movies instead. Actually, two movies that still didn’t convince Marvel on the right Bruce Banner so they went ahead and re-casted him for the third time with Mark Ruffalo. Now, he’s about to get another version of himself.

Hulk Don't Like Yet Another Actor Playing Him. Seriously.

Deadline reports that Marvel and ABC are in the the early stages of developing a TV series based around Hulk, bringing him back to TV. Of course, there’s also the Avengers movie which will have Mark Ruffalo playing the character. Kind of like ‘Superman’ and ‘Smallville’ here. Actually, it would only make sense if Ruffalo himself takes up this role and plays it instead of yet another randomer that we don’t identify the character with. It’s hard enough to shake off Edward Norton’s characterization here.

Expect to see a lot more TV series based around Marvel characters since there’s a whole new TV division of the company opened now. What do you think of a Hulk TV show? More importantly, would you watch it?

I think I would check it out to see if it’s worth watching, just because I’m a superhero fanatic, but I don’t know if we can stand another actor playing the role of Hulk. I think it would be funny if Eric Bana reprised the role in this series…
