In just a few days, a whopping ten new posters for the finale of the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise have been released. That’s Warner Bros’ marketing campaign for their surefire moneymaker on overdrive. But no complaining here since all of them look dark and great.

Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort’s immortality and destruction—the Horcruxes. On their own, without the guidance of their professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.

Really digging the very dark and gritty tone in this new batch of character posters and it’s an edgy direction for WB to go in with a kids franchise. Then again, I would never be more excited about a movie if it wasn’t for the marketing that plays it off as an epic movie. The stubble here by Potter is something of a delight as well. There’s three other posters from the previous set and look great as well.
