Woody Allen has given hits and misses, but there is no denying the fact that his hits far outweigh the minor misses that cross his path. His upcoming ensemble dramedy ‘You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger’ has a pretty daunting star-cast and looks entertaining in the Woody Allen fashion. Here’s a new poster for the movie that highlights its star prowess.
Woody Allen’s You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger follows a pair of married couples, Alfie (Anthony Hopkins) and Helena (Gemma Jones), and their daughter Sally (Naomi Watts) and husband Roy (Josh Brolin), as their passions, ambitions, and anxieties lead them into trouble and out of their minds.
Though it looks much more stylish and refined that the other posters (Valentine’s Day) that display their huge star cast, I would have still preferred something other than random screenshots of the movie splattered all over the poster to make its point. I see at least four Anthony Hopkins right there. They’re seemingly random and that’s what the negative is. Nevertheless, the movie will hopefully be good enough to keep Allen’s winning streak going.
