We already had a first poster for the final installment of the ‘Saw’ franchise which took the term ‘Eye Popping 3-D’ to a literal level. Now, the second poster takes another such term to a very literal level as well.
As a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw’s brutal legacy, a group of Jigsaw survivors gathers to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen, a man whose own dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror…
I’m glad they’re at least using Jigsaw’s image in the marketing right now, as I had feared they’d try too much to bring in an all new casual audience. The ‘Saw’ posters have always been visually striking and very inventive for the horror genre, and this is no exception.
Movie opens in October.
