This is it. After seven years of providing bloody fun ever without fail, the ‘Saw’ franchise finally comes to an end with ‘Saw 3D’ that producers and the trailer confirms is the very last installment. We have an eye-popping poster, a very cool motion poster and a bloody teaser trailer for the film from Comic Con and here it is thanks to IGN Movies.

As a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw’s brutal legacy, a group of Jigsaw survivors gathers to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen, a man whose own dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror…

The trailer is efficient in setting up the film as an event although in true ‘Saw’ fashion, no plot details are reveal. What we know is that a huge trap involving outdoor sequences is in the film and we get spoiled to an extent about Jill’s fate. Trivia – you will see Chester Bennington from Linkin Park in the trailer as a trapped victim. That adds to the excitement level considerably.

As for the poster, it takes the ‘eye-popping 3-D’ cliche from recent animation posters to a new literal level. However, Joblo reports that the poster is a total rip-off of a Playstation 3 ad from years ago. I wouldn’t disagree, but it’s cool nevertheless.

The ‘Saw’ franchise has had its ups and downs but it’s without a doubt a very enjoyable and longstanding horror franchise that changed the face of horror forever.

Below is the trailer and motion poster.
