Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ is and will always be heralded as a classic in animation and film in general. With 3-D the new hot thing, this move was not so unexpected after all.
Don Hahn reveals to Empire this interesting tidbit:
“I’m actually trying to work out a 3D conversion of The Lion King. I’ll be doing that when I go back to the States in a couple of weeks. It’s going to be spectacular – we will do a good job for ya! The technology is tremendous.”
Though its definitely a cash-in move, I wouldn’t mind ‘Lion King’ in theaters once again and I’m sure I’m not alone.
