Roland Emmerich’s next Sci-Fi is about to hit the trailers today. The director who loves destruction as seen in Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow is basing his new movie on various interesting works such as the Mayan Calendar that ends in 21/12/2012, the intersection of the twelve Zodiac constellations with the Dark Rift as predicted by Astrologers and the fact that NASA is predicting strong solar activity in 2012 with evidence that the magnetic poles are slowly weakening.

I don’t know about you but I am definitely interested in checking out his upcoming flick scheduled for later this year. It stars John Cussack, Danny Glover, Thandie Netwon and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Make sure you check back later today for the Trailer.

Well spotted! Sometimes my keyboard just needs a bit more bashing than normal!

    Corrected.

I was disappointed by the trailer. Clearly, it had awe-inspiring special effects (common with Roland Emmerich’s films). But a 2min40secs trailer filled with NOTHING but SFX numbs you in a few seconds. There was no story or nothing to be known about the characters through the trailer. All eye candy.
