Expects it to be the best selling title of company's history.

Resident Evil 6 is due out in October, and here’s Capcom firing bets, or let’s say hopes that its sixth main entry in the never-ending T virus saga will sell 7 million copies worldwide.

Andriasang is reporting that the Japanese publisher has set a sales target of over 1 million for its upcoming titles. That includes DmC Devil May Cry, Dragon’s Dogma and Lost Planet 3.

According to Capcom, Ninja Theory’s rebooted Devil May Cry is expected to shift a good 2 million copies. As for the new fantasy RPG title, Dragon’s Dogma, the publisher is aiming for 1.5 million units. Finally, Lost Planet 3 – which is planned for release early 2013, will accordingly yield the least of them all in terms of projected sales – 1.4 million.

The Bethesda-published supernatural assassination actioner releasing in October.

Bethesda has confirmed the release date for Arkane Studios’ upcoming action adventure, Dishonored. The supernatural assassin action title will hit US shelves on October 9, Europe on October 12.

Dishonored is a steampunk-inspired stealth actioner in first-person perspective – it was recently announced by publisher Bethesda. Arkane Studios, the 2010-acquired studio by Bethesda parent ZeniMax, is onboard making the game. Corvo is the name of the game’s protagonist; his combat relies on weapons and often spices it up with some superstitious abilities during his enemy encounters.

Dishonored is coming to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. A playable build will be vacant at Bethesda’s booth this E3.

Agent 47 on duty cutting necks with his fiber wire starting November.

You’ve all better been wisely saving plenty of coin for this fall. Simply put, a rather provoking, daring move from Square Enix, placing Hitman Absolution’s launch schedule among nearly a gazillion of other high-profile titles from this fall. Agent 47’s latest mission, for a lot of gamers, is one of the most anticipated undertakings of the year, and being a fan of the series myself, I do approve Absolution with arms wide open.

Now we’ve come to the pre-ordering part and the usual free goodies accompanied with bookmaking a videogame – yes, a practice which have become an obvious standard this generation. Once you pre-order Hitman Absolution, you’ll gain access to a bonus game called Hitman: Sniper Challenge – playing that will unlock content for the game’s main story such as the Silenced Agency Kazo TRG.

Hitman Absolution’s release date is November 20 worldwide on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Highly-anticipated FPS no longer releasing in October.

BioShock Infinite has been delayed into February 26, 2013, publisher Take-Two has announced.

“When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary,” said Irrational Games Creative Director Ken Levine. “Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”

The Irrational Games creative director went on to say that the purpose of the delay was to give developers the space to ensure fans can get their hands on the finest version of BioShock… kind of the perfection Levine seeks for.

Infinite was originally pegged for the fall – the busiest schedules for big game releases. Though it’s common to see anticipated titles from that period pushed forward to a relatively lighter time of the year, and this time it is BioShock Infinite has been kicked off the late 2012 skyline.

Turns out that Alan Wake’s American Nightmare was a timed Xbox 360 exclusive, too. Remedy Entertainment confirmed that its critically-acclaimed spin-off release of the psychological thriller will be heading to PC on May 22 – that’s few weeks from now.

The PC release of American Nightmare will be available on both digital services, Steam and Good Old Games. Both sites are currently holding a sale on the original Alan Wake. As for American Nightmare, pre-ordering the game at both stores will net you a 10% discount, bringing the original $15 price down to $13.50 – even better if you own Alan Wake on PC the pre-order incentive can be as wild as 25%.

As part of Steam’s mid-week madness, Alan Wake is currently available for half of its initial pricing.

Out during the publisher’s 2013 fiscal year.

There will be a new Dead Space due for release during the current fiscal year ending March 31, 2013, publisher Electronic Arts has confirmed.

The publishing giant hinted at another outing from the survival horror franchise during a recent investor call. “At the foundation is another year of blockbuster brands: Madden NFL, FIFA, Sim City, Medal of Honor, Dead Space, and Need for Speed as well as mobile hits like The Simpsons Tapped Out, and Bejeweled.”

Other than that, not much was disclosed; however, in a statement issued to Game Informer, the publisher added: “There’s no further information today but watch for several big product announcements from EA at E3 in June.”

The rumor mill of a third major installment in the Dead Space series has been in full swing since late last year, with internet leaks and reports claiming that the new title’s setting is a planet molded by ice – which is a big departure from the previous space ship-set games.

Confirms PC version of Crysis 3 will get the exclusive visual goodies.

So PC gamers didn’t want the Crysis IP to mangle the console property; it is somewhat the truth that no one argues about. Crytek’s Rasmus Højengaard pointed the obvious about PC players not wanting the Nanosuit shooter to be on consoles, saying that Crytek understands why.

“PC players, fundamentally only want Crysis to be on PC, right? And, you know, that’s kind of understandable when you consider how the original game – and even Crytek itself – started out,” he told Spong.

“But, we’re definitely pushing this game a lot from a visual standpoint, and for sure there’s going to be visual goodies in it that you can only get if you have a super-high-end PC.

“At the same time, we want to ensure if you don’t have a super-high-end PC, the game will still look amazing. On top of that, we want to make sure the experience is not different from platform to platform.”

While he didn’t mention what kind of exclusive bells and whistles PC people can look forward to in Crysis 3, using the term “super-high-end PC”, twice, made me think how far Crytek wants to graphically push their CryEngine 3-powered shooter. But it’s about the gameplay, too. Right?
