Red Dead Redemption, Mafia II Delayed
RDR to now release in May; Mafia II between Aug-Oct.
Take Two Interactive announced their financial result for the first fiscal quarter of 2010. And unfortunately folks, we have some terrible news. Red Dead Redemption and Mafia II both have been delayed.
Red Dead Redemption, which was original scheduled to release in April, has now been pushed by a month. It will now hit stores on May 18th in North America and May 21st for the rest of the world.
Mafia II has suffered the worst, however. 2K Czech’s awaited action-adventure, which was set for a July release , has now been pushed back to late summer to early fall of 2010. It will now release between August 1st to October 31st.
Take-Two CEO Ben Feder attributed the delay to a “focus on quality and need for more development time.”
