Spec Ops: The Line – Six New Screenshots

2K Games has published a half dozen screenshots from its upcoming Dubai-ruin based third person shooter Spec Ops: The Line. As one can see, the screens are just grabs from the trailer shown at the Spike TV Video Game Awards ’09. So, well, they aren’t ‘new’ per se, but gives a more sharper alternative to scrutinize details.
Personally, i feel the game looks and behaves just like any other shooter in the market. It lacks the distinctive feel and style that says ‘yes, this game is based in Dubai and is different from what you have seen before’. It could be any country with tall glassed buildings. But of course, i will reserve my final judgement till i get my hands on the complete game, hopefully, some time later this year.
