In its fourth quarter fiscal 2009 financial report, publishing mammoth Take-Two Interactive announced that its FPS-RPG hybrid, Borderlands, has sold has 2 million units worldwide.
With the announcement, Take-Two reconfirmed its plans to support the shooter and extend it as a long-term franchise for the company. Gearbox Software’s FPS-RPG was released on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in October.
Borderlands from 2K Games has now sold over 2 million units worldwide and has established itself as a key franchise for Take-Two, for which the Company has long-term publishing rights.
