We’ve managed to get our hands on the US edition of Modern Warfare 2.

First Impressions

My reaction is

We’ve managed to get our hands on a copy of Modern Warfare 2. It’s a US edition, gray market copy though. Funnily enough, the gray market retailers in Dubai don’t seem to be respecting the embargo on the game set till 10th November.

Well, at least it gives us a chance to give our readers a preview of the game. Expect videos and first impressions soon. Our official review of the game will be released on 10th November, once the review embargo has been lifted.

What? That’s the PS3 version of the game. AFAIK, you cannot pirate a PS3 game. Do your research.

No he didnt pirate it he said he brought it early from a dealer its the real thing

1. thats the ps3 version, you can’t pirate blu ray games

2. why is this surprising? retailers sell games early all the time in the ME

What’s interesting is that the game has an ESRB rating sign on it which means it has come from the US. All official games in the Middle East have PEGI ratings on it. So, that means some stores in the US got the game early and have shipped it to the Middle East at least five or six days ago.
