Much like Portal’s ‘Cake Joke’, which spawned a thousand memes and references from other developers in their games, Skyrim’s (in)famous ‘arrow to the knee joke’ is getting a very similar treatment.
While the Internet is slowing retiring its boots of the repetitive meme, video game developers are only catching up. For example, Guild Wars 2′s ‘Crippling Shot’, an unlock that shatters the dream of your foes of becoming adventurer “with a single arrow to the knee.” It does 15 damage and causes bleeding over time for 6 seconds.
Now that’s a class I would want to play.
