Valve today revealed the Perpetual Testing Initiative (PeTI) downloadable content for Portal 2, schedule for release on May 8.

The PeTI DLC will bring a “powerful, easy-to-use” Puzzle Maker where users can create their own maps with all the necessary tools required within the game itself. No separate application will be required. Creations can then be pushed on to Steam Workshop for other players to download and rate.

Valve promises to add more details on the official website soon.

PeTI will be available for PC and Mac only.
