One Piece: Pirate Warriors western release ready to set sail
Namco and Koei’s crossover project releasing digitally via PSN.
Namco Bandai has confirmed that Luffy and friends are indeed setting sail to the western peninsula in One Piece: Pirate Warriors (known as One Piece: Kaizoku Musou in Japan), the beat ‘em up title based on the very popular manga and anime.
The game was announced not so long ago and recently released in Japan; but since then, not much info was specified regarding a definite branching to other territories. However, it seems One Piece’s extraordinary success in the west granted the fans the videogame adaptation they have been waiting for. Arguably, the graphics in the game look insanely good and justify the appeal of the long-running TV show.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors will be available later this year exclusively via PSN. Again, if you missed the reveal trailer, check it out below but think twice before going all Gomu Gomu no – we don’t no one to be hurt.
