Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer beta starts April 19
Future warfare testing ends May 2.
Ubisoft just announced that the multiplayer beta for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will start on April 19 and end on May 2. Beta is only for consoles.
At the moment, the publisher hasn’t discussed how PlayStation 3 players can gain access to the multiplayer testing. On Xbox 360, however, players can take part either through Splinter Cell Conviction or by pre-ordering the game itself.
The beta will allow up to twelve players at once joining an online session, having the option to specialize in one of them three classes – Rifleman, Engineer and Scout. Ubisoft also says the multiplayer beta will pit you in two different modes – Conflict and Saboteur – in which both modes will be playable on two maps, namely Pipeline and Mill. See details below.
Conflict:
- Description: players battle to complete objectives located throughout the map and earn points, the team with the most points at the end of the round wins
- Game session: 1 round of 15 minutes
Saboteur (available starting April 26)
- Description: a bomb spawns in a central location, both teams compete to retrieve the bomb and be the first to detonate it at the opposing team’s base
- Game session: 1 round of 10 minutes
Ghost Recon Future Soldier is due for release May 25 for PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC version is planned for June 15.
