PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Solider dated for June
DirectX 11 and online widget features added in
Ubisoft today dated the PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Solider for June 15. The release will come a month after the shooter launches on the Xbox 360 and PS3, but the slight delay has its benefits.
The PC version will feature superior and fantabulous DirectX11 visual goodies by the name of tessellation, compute shaders-based realistic lighting, volumetric fog, new post process effects, TriDef stereoscopic support, and even multi-monitor “solutions support”.
The version will also be fitted with an array of Uplay add-ons such as party text, friends system and Ghost Feed functionality.
Ubisoft notes that a “temporary broadband connection” will be required for a one-time product registration. It will not be needed from then onwards.
