EA has announced that UEFA Euro 2012 will be released as part of a major FIFA 12 update, or in other words in form of DLC.

The appropriate term should be expansion as players will be granted the opportunity to win that Euro 2012 title virtually, while having the chance to pick one side from all of them 53 UEFA-registered national teams across the continent. Thus, players won’t be restricted to the real-life equivalent of qualified teams.

The eight official stadiums, that will host the competition in Poland and Ukraine, will be reimagined for the game.

There’s a new mode dubbed Expedition, in which you’ll be tasked in crafting “the perfect strategy for European domination” by starting with a captain – he can be your favorite European player, or your Virtual Pro player from FIFA 12.

UEFA Euro 2012 will be sold digitally starting April 25 at a suggested price of £15.99 on PSN, 1800 MS Points on Xbox Live and 2500 FIFA Points on PC.

Other than his excessively biased enthusiasm toward gaming, and technology behind the whole industry, there's a huge fondness inside that drives him nuts to pick up his keyboard and start writing for the love of it.
