Console fighter coming to Sony’s handheld with additional features/missions.
Warner Bros has nailed down an official release date for the portable Vita-exclusive iteration of Mortal Kombat.
The game will arrive on Sony’s handheld on May 1 in North America and May 4 in Europe. The Vita port will ship with all add-on fighters from the console version – Skarlet, Rain, Kenshi and Freddy Kreuger – in addition to God of War’s Spartan hero, Kratos, who appeared in only the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
Publisher Warner Bros. says the PS Vita fighter will make use of the console’s exclusive features, such as the touch-screen peripheral, offering glamorous commands to executing fatalities. It also adds a 150 new Challenge Tower missions.
